My husband is currently on Recruiting duty and this made me sad. Recruiting is hard, especially in rural areas like where we are. He really cares about his recruits, he takes what he does very seriously. He is totally honest and won’t lie to get kids in the Marine Corps. I respect him for that, I see that finding qualified kids is hard, but he does. My husband busts his butt every day working often 7 days a week, sometimes 16 hours a day and I don’t expect everyone to welcome him with open arms but the idea that people may want to do harm to him makes me sad.

My hubby went to OCS with a few young men who should never have been there. I have heard what happens to these unprepared guys and I am so appreciative for your husband and what he does. It is important for the recruit, and for the men beside him, to select the best and the most prepared! Hugs to your husband for all that he does!
